GirlStart, an Austin-based nonprofit, provides STEM-based programming year-around for girls ages K-12.  The annual Girls in STEM Conference is a day-long event that specifically focuses on 4th-8th graders, with workshops dedicated to exploration of STEM careers, delivered by women in the roles.

I led the content planning, and presented an agile-based workshop on game development for multiple groups with collaboration and facilitation assistance from my peers.  It was an amazing experience to connect with so many young women and answer their questions about my work!
